About lab-grown diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are not synthetic. They are diamonds: chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined stones. They are grown in a controlled environment over a period of weeks rather than billions of years, and every stone we sell is independently certified by IGI or GIA to the same standards applied to mined diamonds.

The technology behind a lab-grown diamond is well over fifty years old. What has changed is the scale and the quality. Today, the cuts coming out of certified labs are indistinguishable from the best mined material, including to the loupe, including to the lab.

We work with lab-grown because it lets us deliver exceptional stones at 60–80% below the mined equivalent, with full traceability, no land disruption, and a lower environmental impact per carat.
